Jasper Engagement Photographer // Karli + Matt, Medicine Lake

Though these two weren’t engaged (yet!) I needed some practice as a Jasper engagement photographer.

So, I think it’s no mystery that I love to shoot in the mountains, and after a fall family photo frenzy, I wanted to try to get back to them one more time before winter hit, freezing everything and bringing with it a sun that starts setting at 4 in the afternoon. Lucky for me, the ever so wonderful Karli and Matt were more than willing to doll themselves up and do the day trip to Jasper (You two are the best! Thank you! Matt even drove #thankful) so I could take pictures of them kissin’ and lovin’ on one another.

We didn’t quite get the golden hour light I was hoping for (we even ran out of light at the last location!) but their session still turned out moody and gorgeous and wonderful. Medicine Lake is one of the many lakes in Jasper Natural Park, and everything from the road in to the lake itself was stunning. A perfect send off to another season.

I am available for these day trips with a travel fee. I am also so happy to hike anywhere you’d like to go. Jasper has countless backdrops for your photos, and I love shooting there.
