Edmonton Maternity Photographer B.Grace Creatives’ Two Cents.

If I can encourage one thing as an Edmonton maternity photographer, it would be to wear something you feel good in. You’re already preggo, my friend! That’s enough of a journey without moving around your session in clothes you wanna pull at. You are the star! So decide your outfit first before anyone else.

With that, I would also say be yourself. If you’re not a dress person, don’t wear one. There’s other options that look SO cute for photos. If you love the whimsical, flowy gorgeousness, then let’s do it. Or you can always be nakey in nature (or partially) and forego worrying about clothes altogether! 😉

No matter what you decide, I am here to support and give feedback on what you’re thinking if you need it. Colours, length, how it fits your boobs haha I can have an opinion if you need me to.

When to Book With Your Edmonton Maternity Photographer

When is dependent on how you’re feeling too. I have never been pregnant, and I don’t pretend to know the ins and outs of the experience. However, I have learned that it varies from person to person. Pregnancy is a unique experience for everyone with relatable themes.

With that being said, I have done sessions everywhere from 30-38 weeks. With small little, just starting to show bumps to big, beautiful, almost time bellies. All beautiful.

People move through pregnancy differently, and I am down to be flexible to work with that. We can have you in the calendar, but just keep checking in before setting a date solid.

Sunny Summer Session at the Beach

Danielle (+Branton) wanted her session to involve water. In regards to Edmonton, we have a few spots along the river, otherwise you have to look further. Being that they live west of Edmonton, Wabamun was the place for us. The evening was a little smoky, a little sunny, and the night worked out beautifully.

I love what these two wore for their photos. The jeans and tee/tank look is popular for indoors, but I loved it outside. I think they look like themselves, casual and cool, gorgeous together, and the best part? Danielle’s belly looks soOoOo juicy. Her willingness to be in the water and let her bump hang added to the relaxed feel too.

I hope this can give you some inspiration for your own session, but at the very least I hope you enjoy their photos.
