Brie+Dylan
Being able to shoot these two’s session was definitely a meant-to-be kind of thing. They are from Saskatchewan and just so happened to be in the mountains on a lil’ engagement celebration trip at the same time I was there shooting a wedding. So thanks to the patience of my wonderful man (who agreed to stay a little later into the day on the Sunday and chill in our campervan while we did the shoot) we were able to coordinate and connect to make it happen.
And I am so thankful we were able to! Their love for one another is obvious and glorious and was SUCH a joy to take part in. Brie is not only intelligent and beautiful but, in her own words, is also “the funniest person she knows” and thus had Dylan and I laughing the whole time. Their story is one from a movie (Handsome young farmer captures the attention of a beautiful city girl) and so I was (and am!) over the moon when they asked me to shoot their wedding too *insert happy cry emoji here”.
What a gift this profession is. These two will never be newly engaged again and they trusted me to capture them at that time in their life. So thank you, Brie and Dylan, for asking me and trusting me and for inviting me into these moments in your life, you are AMAZING! xxo
